Fukuoka JALT

JALT is the Japan Association for Language Teaching. From April 2019 until November 2022 I was the president of the Fukuoka chapter of the association.
I headed up the chapter executive committee, overseeing the treasury, membership, and publicity of the chapter. I also represented the chapter at the thrice-yearly national JALT Executive Board Meetings.
​Prior to becoming president I was publicity officer, responsible for maintaining the chapter’s webpage and Facebook page, and for sending regular email updates out to members.
